It’s got the comfort of Thanksgiving desserts but the benefits of some super healthy ingredients.You’d never guess it’s full of fruits, veggies, and adaptogens! Make it for breakfast, lunch, a satiating afternoon treat, or dessert! And it’s fun to blend, fun to pile on toppings, and fun to eat 🍠🍁🧡
Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie Bowl
1 c chopped sweet potato – cookies and frozen
1 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch pumpkin pie spice
3/4-1 c oat milk
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 frozen small-medium banana
1 c frozen zucchini or cauliflower pieces
1 tbsp flax or seed cycle blend
Optional: 1/2 serving vanilla or chai protein powder
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl
1/4 c pumpkin puree
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c oat milk
1/4 c non-dairy yogurt
1 c frozen zucchini or cauliflower pieces (you can sub ice but it will melt faster once blended 😉
1 1/2 frozen bananas (or heaping cup frozen mango/pear)
1 tbsp flax or seed cycle blend
Optional: 1/2 serving vanilla or chai protein powder
Favorite toppings: Three Wishes Cinnamon Cereal, Purely Elizabeth Granola, Within Without Granola, toasted nuts, cacao nibs, fresh fruit!
Method:
Add everything to a high-speed blender.
Blend on low to break down the ingredients.
Blend on high for 10-20 seconds.
Then return to a low speed until it reaches a soft-serve like consistency.
Transfer to a bowl/mug/papaya/coconut or vessel of choice.
Top with all the goods and enjoy immediately.
Extra can be frozen in an ice cube tray for future smoothies!
