Mint Chip and Chai & Pecan No-Bake CBD Bites

After conquering CBD oil in Raw Brownies (recipe to come), I decided to get creative and create a couple fun, festive treats infused with this awesome healing oil! I love that although these are healthy, and no-bake, the seasonal flavors make them taste indulgent and worthy of making alongside the usual Christmas cookies 😉


Introducing . . . 

Mint Chip and Chai & Pecan No-Bake CBD Bites!

These are quick and easy to make, and only require a food processor!

For the CBD oil, I recommend ordering through Prime My Body or purchasing Barlean’s Extra Strength Ideal CBD Oil in peppermint. If you are a big mint fan, or if you opt for an unflavored CBD oil, I recommend adding a drop of Peppermint Vitality Oil to the Mint Chip version.

I promise you, filling your body with cannabinoids never tasted so delish!

No-Bake CBD Bites

Mint Chip (Makes 25 – 2 mg bites)

3/4 c almond butter

4 large fresh dates

1/3 c coconut sugar

1/3 c rolled oats

1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

2 flax or chia eggs  (2 tbsp ground flax/chia mixed with 5 tbsp water)

3-4 tbsp cacao nibs

50 mg pure CBD oil (I use peppermint flavor)

Optional: 1 drop Peppermint Vitality Oil

Method:

Combine the almond butter, dates, and coconut sugar in a food processor and blend until combined.

Add the oats, salt, and cinnamon and blend for a few seconds. 

Add the flax/chia eggs, and CBD oil and blend again.

Add the cacao nibs and pulse to combine.

Roll into 25 bites and refrigerate.

Chai & Pecan (Makes 25 – 1 mg bites, but with added benefits of hemp seed)

Ingredients:

3/4 c almond butter

4 large fresh dates

1/3 c coconut sugar

1/3 c rolled oats

1/4 tsp Himalayan sea salt

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

2 flax or chia eggs  (2 tbsp ground flax/chia mixed with 5 tbsp water)

1/3 c pecan halves

25 mg pure CBD oil (I use peppermint flavor)

3 heaping tbsp Chai Flavor Manitoba Harvest Hemp Protein (or 3 tbsp vanila protein and 2 tsp chai spice blend)

2-3 tsp nut milk

Method:

Combine the almond butter, dates, and coconut sugar in a food processor and blend until combined.

Add the oats, salt, and cinnamon and blend for a few seconds. 

Add the flax/chia eggs, CBD oil and pecan halves and blend again.

Add the protein powder and blend for 10 more seconds. 

If mixture is dry and not moldable, add nut milk, 1 tsp at a time until a dough forms.

Roll into 25 bites and refrigerate.
