This is a 3 ingredient snack or dessert that you can make in a minute. Really, it would be cheating to call it a recipe. However, I have to share it! When fig season comes around I always snack on these little gems like popcorn. I also try to incorporate them in every dish I can. Whether it’s a goat cheese, fig, and arugula pizza, or sliced on top of pancakes, figs make food better. And in my case, life better. So enjoy this very simple meal that makes the best of the summer’s bounty.
Fresh Figs with Coconut Milk and Walnuts
4 fresh Black Mission Figs, quartered
1-2 tbsp canned coconut milk (if you use the thick cream on top it’s even better)
1 tbsp walnuts or hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
Place figs in a bowl, drizzle with coconut milk, and top with nuts, Enjoy immediately.
