Juicing – Day 2
After taking the first chug of my second 16 ounce juice, I was oh so grateful that I opted for 48 ounces rather than 96. This mid-day juice consisted of celery, cucumber, and blue green algae. In my opinion, very unpleasant. However, the other two juices were pretty good and that spicy sea-like juice made me savor and appreciate the avocado and smoothie I had for dinner. With that, I present day two . . .
Wednesday Day 2
8:30 AM: 1 large pear, 1 ½ tbsp raw almond butter, 2 tbsp raw vanilla sauce (cashews, dates, vanilla, water), 1 tbsp chopped pecans, 1 tbsp shredded coconut; Latte: 1 c homemade cashew milk, 1 date, ½ c herbal tea
11 AM: 16 oz. Juice: apple, leafy greens, chia seed
1 PM: Raw Vegan Cookie (dates, almonds, almond butter, coconut)
1:30 PM: 16 oz. Juice: cucumber, celery, blue green algae
4:30 PM: 16 oz. Juice: apple, beet, orange, carrot; Handful of raw cashews
7 PM: 1 sliced sprouted grain toast, ½ avocado, ½ tsp extra-virgin olive oil, a few spinach leaves; Smoothie: 1 banana, 1 ½ scoops organic raw vegan protein powder, 1 ½ tbsp raw almond butter, 1 ½ c spinach, vanilla, ice
11:15 PM: Raw Vegan Cookie (dates, almonds, almond butter, coconut)
*Note: I have also been drinking organic unflavored herbal tea at breakfast and before bed.
